Baby #2 coming soon!

Well not that soon...babies take nine months to make ya know.  But its true...we are having another baby around April 23, 2011.  I am about 14 weeks along and I only know that because I know I'm 2 weeks behind my bestie Erica Case.  I haven't exactly been to the Dr. yet.  ooops.
We actually found out we were pregnant the weekend of my sister's wedding (Brittany) and that was back in August so we've been keeping a BIG secret.  I am now starting to show and decided we better say something before people starting asking us!
We are excited, scared, and well everything inbetween.  Chris is hoping for a boy that looks just like him-again.  And for me, I just want blue eyes.  Red hair wouldn't hurt either!!! Come on Shoaf genes!!

So much has happened in so little time!

First off my older sister Brittany got married to Kyle Shepherd.  They got married on August 28th, 2010 at my Grandma and Grandpa Shoaf's farm in Hope, Indiana.  The reception was at the historic Breeding Farm.  It was B-e-a-utiful.  Me and Emma were even able to teach Frances how to dance since she just turned 14.

Christopher and I took Nolan to the Indianapolis Zoo for the first time.  We thought he would love the dolphin show but he actually cried.  He did like the little fish inside their tanks though.

And for those of you following...there will be a surprise coming shortly! Stay tuned!

New play pen

Chris and I got a pool on clearance and decided to blow it up ourselves.  It took a few hours but we got it done.  (Chris did most of it, I was getting light headed!) And then we decided to leave it inside for a few days to use a play pen.  Nolan thought it was a great idea too until he found out he could escape.  Then we used it as a pool.

Beach Baby!

Awww...
Daddy and Nolan
First taste of sand
This summer was a summer of a lot of 'firsts' with Nolan including his first day at the Grandpa Moore's house out at Lutheran Lake.

Now that the baby is asleep...

OK, so Nolan's in bed.  It's actually kinda early for him to be in bed but he was literally asking for it.  To catch you up on summer since its almost over, I may just do with pictures....
Christopher and I went to Nauvoo in... well now I don't even remember, hold on.....May 22 to be sealed as a family.  We even decided to take a bike ride to see the sunset and it nearly killed us.  Nolan was wonderful inside and did raspberries the entire time the sealer was talking so I don't actually remember a lot he said.  Turned out too, that the sealer was a previous Indianapolis Mission President! It is such a small world!

I am now a blogger...

I thought this day would never come but it seems the easiest way to communicate with family and friends that are stretched across the country.  Its easier than sending letters, writing e-mails, and even making a phone call as long as I can keep it up to date.  So here I go...
